IMAGINE YOURSELF DEBT FREE

Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is a 13-week program taught by Dave via video that teaches families to communicate about money, make a budget that works, and live and give like never before! The class will meet on Saturday evenings at 6pm beginning on July 11. The materials cost $93 per family. Sign-up at the welcome center or in the office. There are scholarships available—apply in the office. If you already have the materials, the class is free.

This week the Lord has been stirring a lot of things in my heart. Even after preaching the message Sunday morning, and sitting in the bench while we sang a song of response, I sensed the Lord speaking to me about the very message I had preached. (I’ll probably share some of that Sunday morning. But I am still processing it).

I’ve been praying for you much this week. I am praying about how we will respond to the Scripture; that a sense of belonging to God will shape our identity and decisions; that we will all discover how the Lord wants us to uniquely participate in missions, etc..

This has been one of the Scriptures I have prayed. 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “Each one must give as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”

I am praying that you will have freedom in your seeking the Lord’s guidance, and to give a Faith Promise that is what you determine with the Lord. It will not be because you feel obligated. It will be motivated by grace. It will be a personal experience whereby your relationship with the Lord is deepened, your faith encouraged, and your joy increased. I am praying that you will sense more ways in which His grace abounds to you. I am praying that you will find Him more sufficient (can that be?) than ever before.
