John 7:25-52 Sermon Application Questions
1. Verse 29, Jesus says, "I know him..." What is the difference between the people of Jerusalem knowing God and Jesus knowing God? (Remember, Jesus tells them that they really don't know him v.28)
2. If the key to knowing God is relationship, how do you see your relationship with him?
3. The people in Jerusalem were blind to the fact that Jesus was the Christ. Knowing that Jesus, by his grace, is the one who reveals himself, (ex. Luke 24:13-34, Matt.16:16-17, Matt. 11:27) how should this truth humble you?
4. "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink" In this statement, Jesus is claiming he is the great provider. How have you seen the Lord provide in your life?
5. Read verse 45. Jesus words bring great power because it is the very Word of God! How should this truth affect the way you read the Bible?
